KEY TO SUCCESS

My dear friend,

How are you?   No today I’m not sending any Email, rather I’ll write a letter- simply a letter as we used to do earlier. I’ll go to the nearby post office and purchase a cover, affix stamps on it. Then I’ll drop the letter in the post box. I’m dreaming that one fine day the postman will come to my house and drop your reply to my letterbox. Returning home I’ll search the letterbox whether any letter except official letters has been sent to me, just to know how I am, How I am passing the days etc.! You know every day I’m awaiting but get none. Only notices or statement of accounts where I invested, make a  heap in the letterbox. But no letters full of warm and emotions do not wait for me.

I can’t remind when I wrote a letter last. Actually, I have nothing to write because there are so many non-attainments in life ……… You see we never learned even how to dream, how to run after that, how to reach the goal.

In our childhood we loved chocolates and used to think whenever we would grow up we would set up a shop of chocolates and would eat as many as we wished. What we dreamt to be the best that was to be a driver of a car or train. We used to take him a hero. “What a tremendously powerful man he is”.  But never thought to establish a factory where chocolates can be made or a factory where cars can be made.

Actually, in our childhood, there was no Bill Gate, No Henry Ford. No one told us that who is the man behind this wonders. Apart from genius, dreams should be created or projected by the parent for the average children so that they can have a dream and fill urge to pursue it.

When are you retiring? I have almost 128 days in my hand.  A dream to start afresh is hankering after me. Especially when I came to know about the story of the KFC man. He is Colonel Sanders who started his business at the age of 65 years after his retirement from the job of a restaurant. The most striking thing is that he was refused more than thousand times when he visited the entire local and nearby restaurants seeking a partnership to promote the business of his own unique tests of chicken fry and then, at last, got success. You imagine what a dream he was having and what a strong patience he had. At the age of 65, he was trying to make his dream a reality. In 1976, the Colonel became the world’s second most recognizable celebrity.

We both are retiring from service let us try for a new life. Come, join my friend. We will also be able to start a new life. Age is no bar, only our “Dream, and strong will” is the key to success for a new life.
