The Bengal Journal of Psychiatry is the official publication of the Indian Psychiatric Society, West Bengal State Branch. It is published half-yearly with one special supplement (total 3 issues). The journal publishes original work in all the fields of psychiatry and allied sciences. All papers undergo double-blind peer-review prior to publication. The journal provides immediate free access to all the published articles. The journal does not charge the authors for submission, processing or publication of the articles. The journal is indexed in Google Scholar, Research Bib, Indian Science Abstract, International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), PKP-INDEX,  Publons,  Cosmos Impact Factor and Eduindex Impact Factor (EIF).
